Welcome to Brian Stephen- Quality Irish ​Horses.

For those who don’t know me I’ve been ​buying and selling Irish horses professionally ​for over 30 years. Im based in Rainhill, just ​outside Liverpool (very accessible- 5mins off ​M62 and 5mins off M57) with excellent trial ​facilities.

I usually have young horses just beginning ​their careers- Whether your looking for a top ​quality sports horse or a family all rounder ​don’t hesitate to give me a call/ text to discuss ​your requirements.

I like to give horses that ​pass through my yard a ​well rounded start to their ​education.

I use a variety of local ​venues to give them good ​experiences away from ​home.

Farm rides, XC schooling & arena ​hires are great for building ​confidence and assessing horses ​temperaments.

Its always good to have a chat to discuss what your ​looking for & usually I can get a good feel for If I think a ​particular horse would suit or not, or if I know of a horse ​that would.

I’m finding horses harder & harder to find at the minute ​but regularly travel to Ireland throughout the year in ​search of them. I have long standing friends and contacts ​who I can trust & know the types of horse I’m looking ​for- a sound animal with a genuine temperament is ​paramount.

Trial & Vetting facilities

I have a well maintained 90 x 200ft arena ​with a course of showjumps and fillers for ​customers to try horses.

There is also a short farm track to hack them ​down/ cool them off.

The yard is clean with good hard standing for ​trotting horses up & circles on the hard for ​vettings.

If your traveling from out of area I can give ​you a list of local vets to choose from.
